      I was stuck on this laptop for like six months and it was fractally infuriating. I was bedridden and it made my physical illness worse in multiple ways.

        normally computers just ruin my mental health, but this machine not only did that at an extreme rate, it screwed my physical health too!

          I think the last time that happened was Nvidia's shitty mid-2000s linux drivers. they broke when my kernel updated and I was stuck trying to fix it on a 19" CRT on a too-small desk running text mode linux at 60 hertz. It was like looking into a fucking strobe light, and it took over half an hour to do the command line stuff I'd need to do to fix the kernel modules. I didn't make it, I had to get away from the computer or immediately begin vomiting
