R.I.P Princess Leia.
Unfortunately, our mom cat had to be euthanized this morning. She was a super sweet cat and was completely devoted to her kittens even though she wasn't feeling well. Now I get to be Mr. Mom to her five kittens, which includes bottle feeding about every three and a half hours for at least the next few weeks.
As for the cause of her illness, they are still not sure. We'll know more after an autopsy and blood tests come back.
