I'm listening to Canadians continue to give unprecedented attention to an unelected public figure who got assassinated and who most Canadians had never heard of before last week.
And I realize why this is such a big deal.
It's that the rightwing very rarely ever has to face any public consequences for their actions.
That's what's different here - even if people, including MPs in our HoC who honoured him with a standing O yesterday - don't want to admit it.

@AlisonCreekside say what? Who gave the racist youtuber guy a standing ovation? If it's the Con who represents my riding, the guy I did not vote for, I will raise some hell.

@TheresaReason @AlisonCreekside Raise the Hell, because the Cons initiated the standing O and most/many MPs including most Liberals stood and clapped, honouring a man who would like to eliminate people like me and many others. I've written to my MP.
