Well sh*t… political violence on the rise. That’s unsettling. That said, I won’t be offering thoughts and prayers for nasty, dead Charlie Kirk. Dude did a lot of damage with what little power and influence he cobbled together over years of right wing agitating. He took special, maniacal pleasure in tormenting academics and women he found insufficiently conservative. Trump was smiling as he announced the death, almost like he was thinking ‘bring it on suckers, this is the civil war I always wanted’. So messed up, this is.
