    Great purpose, so-so execution.
Land isn't free. When agriculture isn't as efficient as possible, we take land away from other critical needs - and animal agriculture is incredibly inefficient.
First third of the book feels like a biography for a random individual, but persevere.
Biofuels sound good are a bad idea: they require vast amounts of lands to grow crops for fuel, when it would be better to grow crops to feed people.
Mention of cloned meat (I think that technology has a lot of promise).
Author believes numbers don't support organic farming, vertical farming, regenerative farming. Might be right: I would like to see more sources on that.
