Site Rules (Draft/WIP)

This is a rough draft of the rules for Caint. This is very bare bones, but should be OK for now.
Of course, I welcome all suggestions for rule changes in @Comments-Feedback

You must be the age of 18 or above to be a member of this website. We are not catering to children.

1. English is the primary language of the website. Gaeilge is also allowed. Other languages are discouraged.

2. There is to be no homophobia, transphobia, racism, bigotry, xenophobia nor sexism on this website. You may use curse words, but not slurs.

3. Multiple accounts are forbidden.

4. It is expected that users act as adults, this is a website for discussion. Users may not always agree, this is not a reason for flame wars, name calling or otherwise being a git. Be polite and thorough in your posts, if you’re arguing a topic then provide thorough reasoning for your opinion.

5. Do not feed trolls, if a user is flame baiting then use the report functionality, do not respond to the troll.

6. All content submitted by a user must adhere to a PG-13 guideline.

7. All questions and feedback relating to the website may be posted in the ‘Comments and Feedback’ section - https://caint.ie/category/4/comments-feedback

8. No posting of Warez/Serials/Cracks/keygens, or links to sites with said content. Do NOT ask for such things either. Repeated violations of this rule will lead to a permanent ban.

9. No posting of referral links/get rich/get free [insert item here]/online voting links.

10. Search before posting.

11. While posting in topics, make sure to stay on topic. Sometimes conversations may veer off in a different direction. If this happens, posts may be split out in its own thread.

12. Please wait about a day or so before ‘bumping’ your thread.

13. We ask that you please ensure that the content that you are uploading is suitable for a general audience and does not contain any NSFW materials.

14. Any content that is uploaded is of the sole responsibility of the user. Caint is not responsible for content that is posted.

15. If you wish to have something removed from Caint, please email caint@caint.ie including a link to the page that the content is on.
