My kiddo has started preschool and we've been walking there. The school is an hour walking distance from our house, but about half of it is along this sort of nature path. It goes past a pond with loads of birds and turtles and we get to cross the train tracks along the way. It's quite a nice walk, even if it is a bit long. If the bus was better connected, we'd take it, but it's almost as much walking on both ends and minus a lovely trail in the middle.
