In February, the Trump administration laid off many of the staff of the climate.gov website, which was the main platform for climate info in the U.S., and had around 15 million page views last year. Traffic is redirected from that site to an NOAA page. Now, some of that team is relaunching the site as climate.us. DW.com spoke with Rebecca Lindsey, former manager of climate.gov and a science journalist of many years, about what was scrubbed from her former site, and what she and her colleagues plan to do next.
