Always block early and often.
@paninid One of many reasons I left Facebook was the number of old school and college friends who were going down the fash pipeline. Obviously micro-targeted and slowly radicalised by far-right content, and not bright enough to question it. FB is even worse than YouTube for doing that.
And these were folks who used to be cool! Folks I used to party with! The last people I'd have predicted would succumb to that crap.

I'm gen x and use FB to stay in touch with friends I've known for years, but they were all punk and goth and pretty much stayed left wing.
And if they didn't, I blocked them because fuck em. That's what I did to a friend of 30 years who was cool until the Gaza genocide and then became a raging Zionist
