Drought worsened in parts of the Midwest, Southeast and Northeast. Within these regions, there were pockets of improvement in Indiana, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and Florida.
Parts of the High Plains plus Oklahoma and Texas had mixed conditions this week. There were isolated areas of improvement in the West, with a couple spots of degradation in Montana.
Hawaii saw an area of degradation, while Puerto Rico saw a small area of improvement.
