My 95-year-old neighbor, who has been living alone since his wife passed away, recently lost his loyal dog as well. Now, our chicken Hei Hei escapes daily to visit him, enjoying his snacks and allowing him to pet her like an old friend.

@allchronology.com @Badgardener I sure hope the neighborhood is keeping an eye on him.

When I was a kid in suburban New Jersey, the house across the street was occupied by a widow. The neighborhood kids used to visit her on her back porch and she was like a grandmother to us, giving us peanuts in the shell as snacks. I really think that we were a big part of her life.
