@me_ tbh I'm just curious about the inside
mine that is a smaller screen and has a USB A port has a solder pad labeled TX that I could just attach to. With some more effort, I had Ferris show up on the screen - using a simple Rust bare metal app. The stock system is not based on Linux, but on Allwinner's own RTOS, IIRC.

@me_ oh is the USB C port really power only?
Have you disassembled it yet? 🪛

@me_ If you attach a USB A<->A cable, you can short the SPI flash CLK to GND on start and dump via xfel.
