An arson attack on two electricity masts has cut off electricity in parts of Berlin. The media immediately concluded it MUST be far-left terrorists. I prefer to wait for more information. Could very well also be a test attack by Russian saboteurs. I would use that as theory to analyse where we can find more such vulnerabilities and fix them ASAP.

A book club. Where we sit in a circle and read out loud, chapter by chapter, the C Programming Language, 2nd Edition. And at the end of each session we stand up and call out names of Open Source and Free Software written in C without which our modern society wouldn't run. Dress code: 1970s.

After the reading session we gather for food and drinks in a room full of whiteboards (no computers!) where we discuss what we heard. With real code printed out from the projects we named.

OK. This *is* a good use of LLM (Large Language Model) for code generation, in my personal opinion. Take the ftape kernel module for kernel 2.4 (a driver to work with old tape drives that used the floppy controller) to Claude Code and use that to make it run on current linux kernels. Wenn man die seit 1997 ausgesetzte #Vermögenssteuer wieder erhebt, mit den vom Verfassungsgericht angemahnten Änderungen, dann ist das keine Steuererhöhung, sondern lediglich die Wiederherstellung der Ausgangslage. Das man fast 30 Jahre auf Steuereinnahmen verzichtet hat ist ein Missstand, den es schnellstmöglich zu beheben gilt. Machen, bitte.
