For years, I've tried to tell y'all what cops know, and what criminal justice reformers know, about how murders really get solved.

Look at how massive the manhunt for both Luigi Mangioni and Tyler Robinson were. Then look at how they were actually caught. ‍️

Two phone calls.

If you doubled the manpower, but halved the phone calls, your solve rate would be cut in half.

If you halved the manpower, but doubled the phone calls, your solve rate would double. You'd close two other murders currently listed as unsolved.

Read the above again and again until you understand it.

Adding more cops and giving them arrest quotas and permission to brutalize Black people, doubles your manpower, and halves your calls.

This makes murder easier to get away with.

Then violent people rack up massive body counts. They get more comfortable and less careless with each incremental killing.

Pollsters say Hochul is now +2 in NYC, Buffalo, and Rochester, +6 in Brooklyn, the Bronx, and Queens, and +20 with Black voters!

When asked for comment, Hochul's staff offered the Post coupons to buy more barrels of red ink, and high resolution photos of Hochul in various berets posing with Mamdani.

All jokes aside, for any voter smart enough to know that Mamdani is not an antisemite, this is a positive campaign boost for young New York voters that Hochul couldn't buy with any amount of money.

This distances her from the Do-nothing Dems, and takes the edge off of her more unpopular cop overfunding positions.

While we're talking about Albert Einstein and how people have tried to erase his 20+ year civil rights protest work from history:

The FBI didn't like MLK jr. They called him "the most dangerous negro." Because he was influential, brought people together, and was vocally against anti-Black racism.

The FBI file on MLK Jr was 240,000 pages long. They accused him of being a communist spy, because he said things like, "racism is bad," and "too much wealth inequality is bad for society."

The FBI had a file on Malcolm X too. 9,000 pages long. Same reason.

The FBI had a surveillance file on Albert Einstein too. 1,400 pages.‍️

The "civil rights era" never ended. You are still in it.

Black people are still asking for exactly the same things that they asked for in the 1960s: police reform, voting rights, and fair access to employment.

And the exact same proportion of white US voters oppose it with both votes and violence.
