Re-watching Event Horizon this morning@HippieScubaSteve Love this film. Horror in space is a common trope, but *supernatural* horror is space is pretty rare.
I specifically love the production design for the engine, but I feel it violates a version of Chekhov’s Gun — if you show a spiky spinny thing in the first reel of a space horror movie, *someone* should get impaled there in the last reel.
