Yesterday Alto was on list of 10 infrastructure projects to be fast-tracked by new Major Projects Office; consortium already selected, contract is signed.

This is one of few projects that will reduce emissions—it replaces cars on Highway 401 and short-hop flights w/ fast, frequent electric trains.

Yesterday, I was riding my bike when I came across this "die-in" protest, a block from our #Montreal apartment. Height of rush hour; police held back vehicular traffic.

For context, a 31-year-old woman on a bike was killed by the driver of a truck on Sunday morning.
