@julian It's great this doesn't actually require me to register anywhere I can just use activitypub if I want.

@gabboman this is looking a little borked, I don't know which side the issue is on tho. (This is a screenshot from the WAFRN mobile app)

        Its an activitypub thing.
Fedi has been using a field called “summary” for cws.
And then blog platforms use it as a summary. Thats what happened

So where will the fix need to happen? How WAFRN interprets html in summery fields?

Cws for now, once fedi starts moving away from summary we will. But cant allow ignoring cws by default because thats how you get to see someone using cum as thermal paste because you just conected to fedi and “image is nsfw” is not enough and developing a feature as quickly as possible for some reasons

But the post in question above would have still worked fine if you had just rendered the HTML in the summary field wouldn't it? I don't see how that is a NSFW issue

I have to admit, saying it in italian colors gives some more weight to the phrase

I will have to check whether evan had anything To say re: HTML in summary in the long form text FEP…

But afaik summary should always accept HTML.

I'm unable to actually load the activitypub.space domain; I get the error SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG.

I heard back after posting this that it was just the client that I am using that wasn't rendering it. So everything is fine in the end
