• A new version of Nexus Mods App is coming which includes the ability to mod games such as Stardew Valley, Cyberpunk 2077, Baldur's Gate 3 and Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord on Linux & Steam Deck.
• Assassin's Creed Shadows sold more physical copies within 1 week than Star Wars Outlaws did in 3 months in the UK.
• According to insider sources, Assassin's Creed Shadows has become the series' 2nd biggest launch behind Assassin's Creed Valhalla
• Gaming news website and magazine GameInfomer is back after it was purchased by German game developer of Off The Grid. The site and magazine was closed in June 2024 after GameStop discontinued. The entire staff that was at GameInformer at the time of shut down has returned and will be editorially independent.
• A new gaming news website with more of a focus on the industry/business side of things has been opened by Geoff Keighley (Summer Games Fest, The Game Awards) and former editor of GamesIndustry.biz, Christopher Dring. Called TheGameBusiness.com
• CD Projekt Red (The Witcher, Cyberpunk 2077) is teaming with Scopely for a new mobile game based on an existing IP. Which IP? No one knows as yet. Scopely recently acquired Niantic (Pokémon GO)
• InZOI, the new Sims rival, has become Steam most wish listed game.
• Warner Bros San Diego was reportedly making a racing game based on Warner Bros. IP's such as Tom & Jerry and Adventure Time. The game was being developed around the same time that Multiversus was being released, closed, released again and then closed. Warns Bros. San Diego was closed at the end of February.
• Indiana Jones & The Great Circle is releasing on PS5 on April 17th. The video features the voice actor for Indiana Jones, Troy Baker and Uncharted's Nolan North. Trailer
• After initially not being included in the upcoming game, Tony Hawk demanded Activision to put Bam Margera into the new Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 that is set to release on July 11th.
• A new side-story game for God of War set in Greece is set to release later this year.
• Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 has been delayed until October 2025.
• GeoGuessr, the browser-based competitive version of Google Maps, is releasing on Steam next month.
• The Nintendo Switch 2 is apparently releasing in June with a 3-phase plan. Dev kits are expected in June
  • 1st: Primarily 1st party (Nintendo) games at launch.
  • 2nd: 3rd party studio titles in October to November
  • 3rd: Games to release around the holidays.
• Among Us is getting a Yakuza/ Like a Dragon collaboration from March 26th to June 24th.
